OMG! AT&T, are you listening?

Yes, Virginia, the iPhone will be available from Verizon on February 10, 2011. Isn’t that dreamy?

Apple COO Tim Cook joined Verizon COO Lowell McAdam on stage to announce the new partnership, saying, “We’re incredibly pleased to give Verizon’s customers the choice we’ve been waiting for” according to a post on Mashable.com today. Now, I feel it necessary to announce that Verizon customers will not get an LTE version but instead will get a CDMA version. I’m pretty sure that will not stop anyone from purchasing the phone. It won’t stop me! I am a proud Droid user but I’m also a new MAC owner and I like to keep everything in the family…you feel me?

LTE vs CDMA…not to worry says Verizon. There are very few LTE networks right now and CDMA while an older technology will work better globally…uh, ahem…if you’re currently a Verizon customer waiting on the iPhone, do you really care if the phone is CDMA OR LTE or are you just running through the house like a kid screaming for the ice cream man?

Listen, the LTE iPhone 5 is supposed to be announced in June of this year…ermmm….if you own a 4 and waited in line for however many hours at the Apple stores (and I know some who did), are you going to be in line for the 5? Probably…

What the heck are you getting at here, Lisa? Well, I think I’m saying that we have a serious Apple addiction and that almost all of us want an iPhone….say this with me, will you?
