About Us
Our History
2007: Bastion Home & Business Services (predecessor to Visual Alliance Media) is launched in Tampa, FL. Soon after, the “R” word (recession) creeps into everyday parlance. We, like many other small businesses were experiencing the same struggle of finding creative, cost-effective ways to market our business.
2008: Bastion leverages several social media platforms to effectively market industry initiatives and training sessions. Approached by other industry professionals and Real Estate agents for training, we realized that we were providing a service that was genuinely needed. In August of that year, Visual Alliance Media was born with a shift in our focus exclusively to social media marketing and training.
2009: Visual Alliance Media launches a social media management division to give businesses the ability to have a social media strategy designed for them and more importantly, to have that strategy managed on a day-to-day basis for them so that they could focus on their core services.
2010: Visual Alliance Media starts the year strong, creating, training and managing social media strategies for clients ranging from colleges and universities to sporting events to health and fitness clubs, to hotels and restaurants to spas and weight loss clinics to HVAC companies to nightclubs. With a mission focused on results, honesty and creativity, we continue adding to our extensive client base.
Our Mission
It may sound cliché, but we know and understand that our clients define our success. With social media dominating the news as the answer to every business’ marketing needs comes an advent of “social media experts” – each claiming to know the magic marketing formula for your business.
At Visual Alliance Media, we’re really good at what we do, but we also understand that the social media sphere is changing – almost daily. Our mission is to provide our clients with an honest, holistic social media solution. We stay current with the trends, we use what works, shed what doesn’t and we always “try what we buy”.
We don’t guarantee 1 million Twitter followers or hundreds of thousands of Facebook fans. We won’t tell you that adding social media to your marketing mix will make you instantly successful. We won’t tell you to abandon traditional marketing methods that are working for you, and we don’t believe in putting all of your marketing eggs in one basket.
Here’s what we will tell you: the key to a successful social media strategy is understanding who your target audience is, knowing how to reach that audience, listening to and understanding your objectives and subsequently designing a social media strategy that fully integrates with your marketing plan and meets those criteria.
